The June Picnic destination was Trout Creek Marina, an ideal destination due to the many large shade trees and a large pavilion for shelter in case of rain. In our case there was no rain but a hot June day with temperatures peaking at 91 Degrees by mid-afternoon. The gathering was timed to start at 10.00am with members departing for home at mid-day to avoid the peak afternoon temperature and any late afternoon thunder storms.

After missing our MG activities a number of us decided to organize a Drive and Picnic Brunch, scheduled for Sunday, May 24, in order to blow the cobwebs out of the engines of our MGs. The destination was the Trout Creek Marina; the gathering time at Trout Creek was scheduled for 10.00am in order to avoid the mid-afternoon temperature. The intent was to make the event a Drive and a Picnic so the participants required to bring their own chairs, food, and drink.

Winter Tour: Meet & Greet with the Chesapeake Chapter of the T Register @ Fort Mose, FL

Another excellent MG Classics event. This time we were joined by a group of members from the Chesapeake Chapter of the New England T Register with their MGs. The venue was the beautiful but not well known Fort Mose State Park in St. Augustine.

The weather behaved and we had a warm day in the Park surrounds. We were joined by members of the Fort Mose Historical Society who provided us with an incite into the History of the Fort, the Militia stationed at the Fort forming the first defence of the City of St. Augustine from invasion from the North. We had an excellent spread of food for the Group.

The highlight was an enactment of Militia training culmination in two seperate Musket firings. Click on the Icon on left to visit the Web Album of the event. It was a treat for all who attended.

Winter Tech Session @ Legacy Automotive

The Winter Tech. Session attracted thirty seven attendees with a record number of British Cars in attendance. There was a grand spread of food featuring pulled pork sandwiches, cookies, cake, soft drinks, and beer, sufficient to feed an army.

Sybil Bradley, ably directed by the President, Bruce Sedelmeyer, changed out the Master Cylinder on her MGB, work was carried out on two or three other vehicles, including a Triumph.
